Shades of Blue

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you are looking forward to a great weekend.  I know I am.  I have been working on this card for a few days and finally got it finished.  This is another cute image from Sherri Baldy.  This is Two Clever Chole.  I thought she was just too cute.   I decided to do a center-step card this time and I used Glossy Accents on her glasses and Diamond Stickles on the flowers in her hair and on her dress.  Here is a close-up where you can see this.  It doesn't show up on the other picture.

For my DT card I used a stamp from Melonheadz that is called Dr. Seuss Cupcake.  I thought it would make a great birthday card. I didn't start out to make this a two color card, but that is what it ended up with.  It had circles/dots on the bottom of the cupcake and then I added dots on the icing.

Couples Black Tie Event

I'm back again today with another card and another challenge.  The challenge at Twisted Tuesday is to make something for a loving couple. It can be an anniversary card, Valentine card, house warming creation, or a scrap page of the happy couple, whatever you like.  THE TWIST ~ Include the color black, preferably ribbon or lace, but anything black will do.  I decided to use the loving couple of Teddy Bo and Bea from Teddy Bo and Co.  This stamp is called Love Swing.
