My First Spring Card This Year

It is a really dreary day here today.  So, what better time to get in the craft room and make a card with a Spring theme.  Today's card has a Magnolia image.  This is Tilda with Hawaii Flower from the Butterfly Wishes Collection.  I thought she would make a good spring card.

I used SU Pink Pirouette for my cardstock.  My Designer Paper is Papermania Parkstone Collection.  My image is stamped on Neenah Solar White Super Smooth cardstock..  I sponged SU Pink Pirourette ink around the inside of the oval die cut.  The die cut is Spellbinder Floral Oval.  The Butterflies are punched out with SU Elegant Butterfly punch.  The leaves of the flowers are punched out with Punch Bunch Twig punch.  My flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

I bought a package of Spectrum Noir alcohol markers the other day.  They were all in shades of Pink.  So, I thought I would give them a try today.  I colored the flower in her hair and the large butterfly on her hand with them.  Spectrum Noir Markers used: DR3, PP3, PP5.  They were alright, but I still prefer my Copics.  Which is what I colored everything else with.  Copic Markers used: E000, E00, E01, E50, E51, E53, E55, R20, R81, R83, R85, RV000, W3, W5, YG23, YG25.
