Red Riding Hood

It is time for our second challenge at The Fairy and the Unicorn.  Last month I was late getting my blog up due to illness.  March was pretty much in and out of the hospital a couple of times and just trying to get my strength back.  April is going to be better.  So, this month the theme is Fairytales.  I have used this cute digi stamp from The Paper Shelter.  This is Steampunk Red Riding Hood.

Wonderful Mother

I am so sorry to be putting up my blog so late.  I had a nasty gallbladder attack carried over into Wednesday. By Wednesday night they decided it had to come out Thursday morning. Which they did and I came home Friday afternoon.  Back in the hospital again a few days later.  So, here is my blog for the new challenge at Crafty Calendar.  Our theme this month is Mum's Day/Special Female.  Our sponsor for this month is Wild Orchid Crafts.  Prize is a voucher to spend in the store.

Embrace the Magic

Hello everyone.  This is my first blog post for The Fairy and the Unicorn Challenge Blog. I am so sorry that it is a few days late, but I had a gallbladder attack and then gall bladder surgery the next day.   This is a wonderful challenge if you like to color fairies and other mythical creatures. And I do.. especially fairies, mermaids and elves.  We have some great themes for you, so I hope we see you playing along with us every month.

This month's theme is Anything Goes With a Mythical  Creature.  I have used Crafts and Me Moon Glow by Hannah Lynn.  This is my second play with Prisamacolor Pencils.  I thought this one turned out really good.  My Cardbase is SU Rose Red and DP is MME Jubilee.  I used a Martha Stewart  Crafts punch.  That flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the gems are from my stash.

Deirdery HIking

I have used Deirdery Hiking.  I love to hike, but my knee prevents me from long hikes now days. I used to scrapbook some of my hiking vacations and that is where the DP is from.  My scrap stash.  The card base is SU Crumb Cake.  The sentiment is taken from a T-shirt that I have.  The only die cuts that I used are SU Oval Framelits. And I added some Glossy Accents to her glasses.
