Flowers on the Beach

I have been playing with my Cameo again. This time I used it to make this card.  First I cut my Scalloped card out and them I cut my sweet little image by Connie Fong out with my Cameo.  I decided to layer on a wave background template and a palm tree.  Now back to my image.  This is Flowers on the Beach by Connie Fong for Sweet Pea Stamps.  Isn't she a cutie?

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Spring

Baby Gift Bag and Card

 

 

I'm back today with something a little different.  I recently got a Silhouette Cameo and I'm learning and have so much more to learn.  I did this gift bag and card for my daughter-in-law's baby shower.  My granddaughter Nora is due in June.  The bag did not photograph too well.  It is a plain hot pink gift bag, but kind of looks orange in this picture. 

 

The panel is a Scalloped Label from The Silhouette Store.  I downsized it for the card.  The giraffe, vine and grass is from Miss Kate's Cuttables and the monkey and baby girl circle is from The Silhouette Store.  The cardstock I used was Bazzill, SU and scraps.  Here is a close-up of the front panel on the gift bag.

I'm back today with a new card.  This cute digi is Ching Chou Kiuk's Poppies for Sweet Pea Stamps.  I made my card using a sketch from Sketch Saturday.  Here it is.

Beary Fairy

Seems like forever since I posted, but, life has a way of getting in the way sometimes.  Still working on cleaning out my mom's house and trying to get her estate settled, so I was down there for several days this week.  I'm back now for a while and time to play catch-up.  Today I used a cute little image by Di's Digi Stamps called Beary Fairy.  I thought she was so very cute.  I also used a sketch Crafty Catz Challenge.

Alter It Challenge

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend.  I know I did.  And now it is Tuesday and time again for a new challenge at Creative Craft Challenges 2.   The theme for this challenge is Alter It.  Crafty-emblies with a £10 voucher for their store is the prize this time.





 

 

I decided to alter some post-it note pads.  All the papers are from my scrap stash and the embellishments are also from my stash.  The post-it notes are 3x3 pads.  



 

 

I cut cardstock scraps 7" x 3.25".  Then I scored them at 3.25" and 3.75 ".  I cut another piece of designer paper scrap at 1" X 3.25".   I used different die cuts and embellishments to decorate each one.  I used double sided sticky tape to attach post-it note pads inside covers.
